Is a national non-profit self-help group that offers support, understanding, compassion and hope especially to the newly bereaved be they bereaved parents, grandparents or siblings.


The Brain Injury Association of Arizona (BIAAZ) is the only statewide organization in Arizona dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people with brain injuries and their families and working to prevent brain injuries.  BIAAZ is a non-profit membership organization that includes people with brain injuries, and their families, friends and service providers and a chartered state affiliate of the Brain Injury Association of America. BIAZZ has been been providing information and referrals, education, advocacy and support for those affected by brain injury since 1983.


The Brain Candy Project

The Brain Candy Project's mission is to support the needs of parents/guardians living in the hospital with their critically ill children.We will collaborate with and support other non-profit organizations who are focused on charitable and educational activities that raise awareness about pediatric illnesses, traumas, and the support needs of families who are affected by them.

The Brain Candy Project is a project of United Charitable Programs - a registered 501(c)(3) public charity.


A Caring Bridge website helps keep loved ones informed during difficult times. In return, family and friends give patient and caregiver support through guestbook messages. There is no charge for their services.  

   A valuable resource for bereaved individuals. They also publish a magazine called Grief Digest. Must pay a subscription fee which is listed on the website.


The Compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization that offers friendship, understanding, and hope to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. There is no religious affiliation and there are no membership dues or fees

The Compassionate Friends of the Mohawk Valley

The Compassionate Friends of Mohawk Valley was established in June of 2010 to provide a safe environment to actively help families towards the positive resolution of their grief following the death of a child. Our chapter is one of more than 625 Compassionate Friends chapters in the United States.

Mourning Discoveries
